CD REVIEW: BURIAL CHAMBER (Sydney Death Metal) - "Left to Decay" CD, by Collin Brophy

Burial Chamber Left to Decay Album Review

Burial Chamber is a death metal band from Terrigal, The Central Coast, New South Wales, but they are now based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. I couldn’t find too much information from their Facebook page but they have been around since 2007 and are signed to Australian record label Grindhead Records. The band’s Metal Archives page says that the band is still active but they have had no new releases since 2010.

When Burial Chamber’s debut album Left to Decay came out on the 13th August 2010, they were a three-piece. When that album was made, the band members were: Clint Callaghan – Guitar & Vocals, Jeremy Beal – Bass, and Mark Robertson – Drums. The band has influences from such bands as Pungent Stench, Embalmer, and Carcass just to name a few.

The nine songs on their debut album are: 1. Left to Decay, 2. Severed Heads, 3. Destruction of Human Form, 4. Dispose Of, 5. Murder Victim, 6. Amputation for Cremation, 7. In The Grave, 8. Necrotic Nemesis, 9. Drink The Blood. The album runs for just over 30 minutes.
