CD REVIEW: KALUMAN (Bandung DM) - "Kaluman" CD (2014), by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews

KALUMAN (Bandung Death Metal) on Bali tour, September 2015
Kaluman (Bandung Death Metal) - Kaluman CD (2014) (Sevared Records)

Formed by members of Jasad, Bleeding Corpse and Turbidity, Kaluman offers their self-titled debut f***ing album including nine songs (one instrumental) and lasting about 40 f***ing minutes! The band performs a Brutal Death F***ing Metal with a big Death Metal side and we can hear some influences from bands like Dying Fetus or their compatriots Absolute Defiance! Kharis
ma Kamal Nurdin (Vocals), Ferli Suferli (Guitar), Daniel Lesmana (Guitar), Adrian Fauzan Rahman (Bass), Asep Rosidin (Drums) are the legendary quintet of Kaluman and doing a good f***ing job on several aspects of their f***ing brutal musick! The production of Kaluman is f***ing great, the mixing is f***ing excellent perhaps less on the side of drums but still not unbearable, totally f***ing killer sound with a very present bass making it a f***ing heavy recording and sounding like a f***ing ton of dynamite! Musically, Kaluman is still f***ing good with a vocals well done, maybe a bit redundant but still f***ing enjoyable, The bass and guitars riffs are very f***ing good at several parts but can be very f***ing annoying and repetitive in many other places and the drums in general is f***ing great at all levels! In my opinion, the songs would have been much f***ing better by cutting off half the time thus eliminating f***ing repetitive, generic and boring moments, but we can also find a big number of great f***ing parts. The two greatest songs already appeared on their demo 2012: "Altar Prostitusi" and "Membusuk Menjadi Sampah" which are f***ing enjoyable in their entirety! Kaluman is recommended for the real passionate in death metal only because for the others it's not a disk to put as priority due to its big lack of brutality! Not Bad F***ing Release! 5/10. Note that Kaluman released its second album The Anthem of Blasphemy on 5 January 2016 via Sevared Records.]

The workers at this gory slaughterhouse are Yadi Behom on Vocals, Uus Death on Guitars, Adrian on Bass, Ari Bejo on Drums and the butchers are performing a f***ing Sick Brutal Death F***ing Metal totally genius, f***ing raw, dirty and f***ing true to the genre! The production of "Condemned to Suffer" is brutally f***ing outstanding, damn successful mixing, and sound of a surprising quality, f***ing heavy, disgusting, f***ing nasty and generally good making this f***ing shit sounds like some sickos chopping meat from some sluts while beating their bloody shitty ass with their own f***ing guts! 29 f***ing minutes of non-stop brutality, eight perfect shitty tracks that contain all the elements necessary to create a brutal f***ing disk with only good f***ing songs and making their blasterpiece a f***ing addictive shit! CD REVIEW: DEATH VOMIT (Jogja Corpsegrinder) - "Forging a Legacy" CD (2014), by Andrew Sick

Death Vomit (Jogjakarta Corpsegrinder) - Forging a Legacy (Armstretch Records)

The Indonesian f***ing gods of Death Metal Death Vomit are back after eight f***ing years to dump their second full length album "Forging a Legacy"! The line-up of this f***ing bomb is Sofyan Hadi (Guitar / Vocals), Oki Haribowo (Bass / Guitar / Vocals), Roy Agus (Drums) and the brutal f***ing trio are performing a Death F***ing Metal adding a big Brutal Death Metal touch with a total outstanding Death Metal composition that makes you f***ing addicted! Vocals of this shit are f***ing great, diverse and f***ing powerful, riffs are for the most totally f***ing great and enjoyable as f*** with a present and great job at the bass and finally the drums of this f***ing shit are just damn perfect to all f***ing levels, f***ing tight as shit, varied and f***ing sick with a great performance for the complete trio! "Forging a Legacy" consists of nine songs and lasts about 33 minutes of pure f***ing excellence with a composition almost f***ing perfect sharing a great atmosphere with a knowledge of the true Death Metal without any f***ing doubts! A production f***ing flawless, perfect mixing and sound, f***ing heavy with much depth making this f***ing shit really sounds like a f***ing bomb right in your shitty f***ing ears! Death Vomit have managed to make a triumphant return with this powerful addictive f***ing release with mostly catchy f***ing parts and eargasmic to listen with perhaps the only negative part being having two songs which are a little less dynamic and enjoyable but without removing the brutal momentum of this majestic f***ing shit! "Forging a Legacy" is a f***ing must for all Death Metal / Brutal Death sickos and Death Vomit is touching the perfection and certainly making the history of the extreme musick! F***ing Outstanding Shit! 9/10. [This review was first published by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews on 1 January 2015 and is used here with his kind permission.]

CD REVIEW: SICKLES (Bangkalan Death Metal) - "Series Elite Disaster" EP (2014), by Andrew Sick

SICKLES 2015-2016 line-up. Left to Right: Rony (bass), Haidir (drums), Irsyad (vocals), Arie (guitar).
Sickles (Bangkalan Death Metal) - Series Elite Disaster (Self-Released, now also available on iTunes)

From the metal f***ing lands of Indonesia and formed in 2012, Sickles come with their first EP entitled "Series Elite Disaster"! Sickles perform a Brutal Death f***ing Metal with a big side of Death Metal and you can also find in this f***ing diversified disk some Black Metal and Grindcore influences and some technical moments! Muhammad Irsyad (Vocals), Arie Hardiyanto (Guitars), Roni Hardiyanto (Bass) and Haidir Arief Firdaus (Drums) are fulfilling their roles f***ing perfectly by performing an inspired, creative and f***ing brutal musick! "Series Elite Disaster" contains a very good production, a f***ing good mixing and sound, nothing spectacular but giving a raw result with f***ing good quality at all f***ing levels and a bass sound very present! The four Indonesian sickos have made an excellent f***ing job, very good vocals of Irsyad which can seems sometimes a bit redundant but is still f***ing enjoyable, f***ing great riffs in general from Arie and Roni with many good, catchy and some f***ing great bass parts, same thing on the drums side performed by Haidir, very good, f***ing fast and adding some insane f***ing moments! With its seven songs (one intro / one outro) and 20 f***ing minutes, this f***ing shit is very enjoyable, some truly f***ing brutal songs like "Arrival" or "Sabda Busuk Penguasa" but may contain some slightly weaker f***ing moments on songs like "In Carok We Blast" or "Apocalypse" and you can also find some clean symphonic or grindcore vocals! Despite its shortcomings, I think Sickles did a very good f***ing job with "Series Elite Disaster" by their imaginative side they still managed to stand out from the f***ing mass of bands everywhere and is a band to check for every true Death Metallers in the f***ing heart and we can only hope some great future shits from this f***ing awesome band! Very Good F***ing Shit! 7/10. [This review was first published by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews on 1 January 2015 and is used here with his kind permission.]

CD REVIEW: DIGGING UP (Bandung) - "Disseminated Inapparent Infection" CD (2014), by Andrew Sick

Digging Up (Bandung) - Disseminated Inapparent Infection (Disembowel Records)

From the Kingdom of Metal Indonesia, Digging Up are finally ready to f***ing drop their highly anticipated f***ing bomb "Disseminated Inapparent Infection"! 36 minutes, nine f***ing songs (one instrumental and one Jasad cover), this puddle of f***ing puke is all about the real Brutal Death F***ing Metal played in a sick and extreme f***ing way that I think can be a mixture of the old Indonesian Brutal Death with influences of American bands like Gorgasm, Disgorge, Condemned...! Digging Up is Andry Gila (Vocals), Sebastian Dedra (Guitars), Wedra Ramsey (Bass), Arief Rahadian (Drums) and the four sickos are doing an awesome f***ing job with this f***ing piece of sickness of a constant and excellent brutality! The production of this pure f***ing sick shit is f***ing good, also the mixing despite some lack at the drums, a very heavy and powerful f***ing sound that stabs our f***ing ears with a bunch of f***ing shit! "Disseminated Inapparent Infection" is filled with almost only f***ing great riffs, some perhaps a little less enjoyable but I think this f***ing shit is still a total success, f***ing sick vocals completely brutal as f*** that can seem sometimes redundant but never bother us and drums f***ing successful, fast and f***ing sick as f***! Digging Up just show us that the f***ing wait has been worth it fully with an outstanding f***ing album which I think is already f***ing cult for Indonesia and the rest of the shitty world and despite its flaws, this f***ing insane release is almost f***ing perfect at all brutal levels! "Disseminated Inapparent Infection" is without f***ing doubt a f***ing must for all f***ing brutal sickos worldwide! Amazing Brutal F***ing Shit! 9/10. [This review was first published by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews on 1 January 2015 and is used here with his kind permission.]
