Kieran James (Busuk Chronicles): Hai, bisakah kamu menceritakan sejarah awal terbentuknya band kalian hingga sekarang?

DF1: Siap!! Tentu kami sangat senang dan berterimakasih dahulu untuk busuk webzine yang sudi mereview kami, band terbentuk sangatlah spontan, karna menyelesaikan single demo bertitle [tangis darah air mata], dari situ mereka dari lebel brutal di Thailand menghubungi kami, dilirik dan dipinang lebel; SWALLOW VOMIT PRODUCTION mereka juga pernah mereleas ep album band indo, [apoptosis gutrectomy], jadi kami pun tertarik, teken kontrak untuk Album pertama dimulai, yang kita kerjakan proses recording selama 6bln dari oktober 2016 finish di awal bulan april 2017, waktunya sangat singkat bagi kami, semua lancar karna akan releas di bulan mei semoga, tuhan merestui...amin.

KJ2: Bagaimana respon orang-orang dengan Debut album/ Kamu? 
DF2: Kayanya banyak yang suka, dan menanyakan kapan album selesai releasnya, semoga saja berkenan dihati para BRUTALITY di indonesia n di Dunia, tentunya kami berharap.
 

KJ3: Band apa yang paling berpengaruh bagi Kalian dalam bermain musik?

DF3: Cerebral Effusion, Putridity, D.o.f, Disgorge (usa) dan masih banyak lagi.
 

KJ4: Apa rencana kedepan kalian bersama band?

DF4: Pingin bergerilya, untuk event/ tour untuk album kami semoga jika tuhan berkehendak dan melancarkan semuanya.
 

KJ5: Apakah lagu-lagu yang kalian buat menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia?
DF5: Semua terangkum di dalam album, bahasa Indonesia, inggris, n madura.

KJ6: Apa yang kalian ceritakan dalam lirik-lirik yang kalian buat?

DF6: Peperangan di jaman kerajaan Cakraningrat IV, dan reality kehidupan umat manusia di jaman itu. Kami mengangkat thema budaya negri di INDONESIA.

KJ7: Mengapa kalian semua suka memainkan musik death-metal?

DF7: Musik brutality adalah musik yg jahat, dan part2 di dalamya penuh misteri, blasting adalah contoh kuat, karna tujuanya adalah kepuasan bukan nya untuk trendy atau mengikuti jaman/ ikut2an, brutality adalah blasting no compromise. Klo ga ngeblast minggir ajalah.

KJ8: Kapan pertama kali kamu menjadi fans band metal?

DF8: Dulu waktu sekolah, suka beli kaset, majalah foto hitam putih copyan pula, jaman itu metal masih belum maju, seprti jaman ini, releasesan fisik udah banyak, koleksi kaos udah banyak, lebel2 indo mulai bnyak, jadi sukseslah jaman ini jaman nya metal…salutnya anak SD juga ada yg suka musik metal.
 

KJ9: Apa yang Kamu katakan kepada orang-orang yang bertanya mengapa Kamu memainkan musik bergaya barat?

DF9: Kami tidak terfokus pada style, musik kami mengalir, bebas...lah. Cz band kami INDONESIA style. klo pun mirip barat. Influence kami juga berpengaruh.
 

KJ10: Apakah para istri dan kekasih para personil kalian mendukung apa yang kalian kerjakan?

DF10: Sangat mendukung untuk scene metal di pulau madura agar semakin dikenal, karna dimadura band metal hanya bisa dihitung dengan jari.
 

KJ11: Apakah hal-hal yang terbaik dan terburuk tentang komunitas di kota kalian?

DF11: Semoga banyak lagi band metal di madura yang mengeluarakan album, berjuang berkorban untuk memajukan musik di madura, setidaknya masih ada para gerilya sejati di tanah ini, bukan nya malah ada dan hilang lenyap begitu saja. itu bukanlah mental baja, sama saja dengan angat2 tai ayaM [sirwarlord].
 

KJ12: Rencana apa yang kalian buat bersama band untuk kedepannya? 

DF12:Aakan bergerilya, menjajaki event2, setelah kelar rilisnya album, klo tiada aral melintang, semoga…
 

KJ13: Di acara apa kalian merasakan, itu stage yang berkesan?

DF13: Segera di acara party launching album band goregot BRUTAL ASAL surabaya, kita akan mersakan kesan pertama, perdana, pasti berkesan.
 

KJ14: Ada pesan untuk kawan kawan?

DECAYING FLESH band: Awal terbentuk band kami sangatlah spontan karna iseng menyelesaikan 1 lagu demo, akhirnya kami harus serius, fokus, dan berpikir, untuk merampungkan album, via SWALLOW VOMIT PRODUCTION thailand, karna ini adalah band project, saya activ di MORGOD, rony activ SICKLES. Dan hanya beranggotakan 2 lelaki tampan saja haha ... ya mungkin kami akan fokus dikarya dulu, selanjutnya biar waktu yg menentukan.

KJ2: Bagalmana respon orang-orang dengan mini album / album / demo band Kamu?
DF2: Kami sangat bersyukur!! Respons mereka baik untuk 1 single demo kami dan berharap mereka terhibur. Sementara kita perkenalkan via digital saja youtube dan reverbnation. Sangat membantu nda hemat menurut kami haha...

KJ3: Band apa yang paling berpengaruh bagi kalian dalam bermain musik?
DF3: Liturgy, Brodequin, Pathology, Mortician, dan dari Indonesia sendiri Cadavoracity.

KJ4: Apa rencana kedepan kalian bersama band?
DF4: Ingin mengerjakan album, semoga lancar, untuk merampungkan 8 lagu kami ... bismillah!!

KJ5: Apakah lagu-lagu yang kalian buat menggunakan Bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia.
DF5: Bahasa indonesia, bahasa inggris, dan juga bahasa kebanggaan kami bahasa madura.

KJ6: Apa yang kalian ceritakan dalam lirik-lirik yang kalian buat?
DF6: Sejarah perang kerajaan2 madura, jawa, cultural, ethnic, gore, dan kenyataan tragedi umat manusia.

KJ7: Mengapa kalian semua suka memainkan musik death-metal?
DF7: Karna DM/BDM, bagi kami sangat KEREN didengarkan / dimainkan, dan kami terus memperlajari tiap detailnya, walaupun skill kami seadanya.

KJ8: Kapan pertama kali kamu menjadi fans band metal?
DF8: Kalo saya, dulu sejak 2001, saat itu masih sekolah dan hanya nonton2 gigs event lokal, dimana masih musim beli kaset pita, dan mencari informasi band2 sangat susah, tidak ada internet, hanya radio jaman dulu, jadi lamayan berumur ngefansny. (Ghofur)

KJ9: Apa yang kamu katakan kepada orang-orang yang bertanya mengapa kamu memainkan musik bergaya barat?
DF9: Kami sangat berterimakasih pada mereka, Dan semoga jadi awal perkenalan yg baik. Bagi kami, musik kami perpaduan indonesia style, dan barat style, tentu terserah mereka yg mendengarkan.

KJ10: Apakah para istri dan kekasih para personil kalian mendukung apa yang kalian kerjakan?
DF10: Tentu mereka sangat mendukung, Band adalah hobi harus DI perjuangkan, begitu pun kehidupan keluarga anak n istri tetap yg utama.

KJ11: Apakah hal-hal yang terbaik dan terberuk tentang komunitas di kota kalian?
DF11: Terbaiknya mungkin kita masih melihat event salah satuntya event dalam dekat ini "Madura Rock In Day" 18 september di UTM Bangkalan, buruknya jarang ngumpul dan sharing2 dan kurang kompak terkecuali ada event.

KJ12: Rencana apa yang kalian buat bersama band untuk kedepannya?
DF12: Sekarang kami dalam proses mengumpulkan materi full album, sudah ada 6 track yg siap di record.

KJ13: Di acara apa kalian merasakan, itu stage yang berkesan?
DF13: Kami belum merasakan stage mana pun, band ini juga baru beberapa bulan terbentuk dan juga personil kita berdua mungkin buat selanjutnya kamu memakai aditiona drum.

KJ14: Ada pesan untuk kawan kawan?
DF14: Pesan2 jangan pernah berhenti berkarya, terlebih untuk tretan2 madura kita harus terus memperjuangkan apa yg beliau perjuangkan dulu. Mator sakalangkong wassalamualaikum wr.wb

SICKLES NEWS MADURA: Irsyad joins ship heading to Finland / Rony starts Decaying Flesh project

SICKLES BAND NEWS MADURA: Vocalist Irsyad has started working full-time on a cruise ship bound for Finland. He has had this plan for a long time. The band is using additional vocalist on the stage (the vocalist of ANT KILLERS band). Bassist Rony has started a two-man Brutal Death Metal project called DECAYING FLESH with the guitarist of MORGOD (Surabaya). The band is signed to Swallow Vomit Production and are preparing now for their first album. There is no special news from guitarist Arie Sickles nor from drummer Haidir. Who knows what the future will hold for SICKLES band but I hope they continue and can record a full-length album. SICKLES is a promising band with technical skill, creativity, and energy. The lyrical themes are based on Madura history and mythology. SICKLES band released its debut seven-song EP Series Elite Disaster in March 2014 (500 copies) with the line-up of: Irsyad (v), Arie (g), Rony (b), and Haidir (d). CD REVIEW: SICKLES (Bangkalan Death Metal) - "Series Elite Disaster" EP (2014), by Andrew Sick

Sickles (Bangkalan Death Metal) - Series Elite Disaster (Self-Released, now also available on iTunes)

From the metal f***ing lands of Indonesia and formed in 2012, Sickles come with their first EP entitled "Series Elite Disaster"! Sickles perform a Brutal Death f***ing Metal with a big side of Death Metal and you can also find in this f***ing diversified disk some Black Metal and Grindcore influences and some technical moments! Muhammad Irsyad (Vocals), Arie Hardiyanto (Guitars), Roni Hardiyanto (Bass) and Haidir Arief Firdaus (Drums) are fulfilling their roles f***ing perfectly by performing an inspired, creative and f***ing brutal musick! "Series Elite Disaster" contains a very good production, a f***ing good mixing and sound, nothing spectacular but giving a raw result with f***ing good quality at all f***ing levels and a bass sound very present! The four Indonesian sickos have made an excellent f***ing job, very good vocals of Irsyad which can seems sometimes a bit redundant but is still f***ing enjoyable, f***ing great riffs in general from Arie and Roni with many good, catchy and some f***ing great bass parts, same thing on the drums side performed by Haidir, very good, f***ing fast and adding some insane f***ing moments! With its seven songs (one intro / one outro) and 20 f***ing minutes, this f***ing shit is very enjoyable, some truly f***ing brutal songs like "Arrival" or "Sabda Busuk Penguasa" but may contain some slightly weaker f***ing moments on songs like "In Carok We Blast" or "Apocalypse" and you can also find some clean symphonic or grindcore vocals! Despite its shortcomings, I think Sickles did a very good f***ing job with "Series Elite Disaster" by their imaginative side they still managed to stand out from the f***ing mass of bands everywhere and is a band to check for every true Death Metallers in the f***ing heart and we can only hope some great future shits from this f***ing awesome band! TRIBUTE: "Madura is Our Breath" (Yayak Rajam Final Interview), by Ms. Dhinie (English Version)

Ms. Dhinie Allegrea1: Hai, can you tell me the history of this band, how it formed, until now?

Yayak Rajam: Hail... Rajam formed in ’99 decade by the first founder, Magus, where at that time Rajam played thrash metal. Starting from November 2000, Rajam plunged idealistically into black metal. During that time, Rajam started to record their first single “Bheles Pateh” which was submitted into “LEGION TIMUR” compilation under Rotor Corp and released by MUSICA Studio as Major label. Line up at that time: magus: vocal yayak: guitar mumu: drum arif: bass.

In 2003 Rajam with the same line up released their first album “WAR BEGIN”, released by Dark Benner Prod Bandung. During the existence in black metal scene, in 2007, Rajam released a demo that contains 2 songs: SOLUSINYA ADALAH PERANG ANATHEMA AS THE WARRIOR. Only 50 CDs were produced and shared to our colleagues.

Continued with the same line up, again Rajam released their 2nd full album “BURNING ANTARCTICA”, released by LUDAH PRODUCTION GRESIK. In 2010, related to the overload of activities and distance between Jakarta and Madura, Magus (vocal), Mumu (drum), Arif (bass) ”resigned” from Rajam and they’re now living in Jakarta, and they formed death metal band, FINAL TERROR.

In 2010, after the three of them left the band, I was fully in-charge to recruit new personnel Badrut (drum), Ditto (bass) and me, Yayak (guitar vocal) and in 2013, Rajam, again released the full album, 3rd one, with titled “350” released by the same label, Ludah Production.

In this year, 2015, Badrut (drum) and Ditto (bass) couldn’t share their time between band and their activities outside of the band, that led me to make the decision to keep the existence of Rajam in black metal scene. In April and May 2015, through me personally (one man), we recorded 8 new materials for Rajam’s 4th album in DAZTANIANS PRODUCTION. And while I’m having this interview, these materials are in the MIXING and MASTERING, hopefully they will be ready to be released in September 2015. I personally am still in the negotiating process with some labels for the release. The current line up for Rajam nowadays are: YAYAK/SIR WARLORD: GUITAR VOCAL and JIMMY/EVEREALD: BASS (LIVE) DRUM live, for temporary, we use the backing track for every gig until I can find the new drummer for the future invasions. That was the history of Rajam, from how it formed until today. We never had hiatus even though we have had many personnel crises in Rajam.

D2: How was the response for your band’s mini album/album/demo?

YR: From the beginning of our single until our 3rd album, the response is very good. As we can see from the CD sold out and we had tight gigs from time to time. Hopefully the release of our 4th album will still have the same response from the black metal scene

D3: What band that most influenced in your music?

YR: METALLICA, IMPIETY DAN IMMORTAL.

D4: What’s your future plan with the band?

YR: Still productive, released our best creations in our next full album... et cetera... et cetera.... as long as we’re alive still exist in black metal scene, in the middle of it polemic and controversy, hopefully we will able to give the best dedication in the future

D5: Are your songs using Bahasa Indonesia or English?

YR: Both Bahasa Indonesia and English. Rajam first single, Bheles Peteh, means killing revenge using Madura (ethnics) language.

D6: What do you describes in your lyrics?

YR: All of our lyrics tell about the total war, the heat resistance of aggression rebellion within the scope of the war itself was a war nationalist / independence epic or legend that we transferred into Rajam’s lyrics.

D7: Why do you like to play black metal?

YR: I think it’s about choice for an existence in music, it’s about our idealistic in music, in this case we chose BLACK METAL as out roots in music, there we found interests to play, to see, to listen and to read from it polemic and controversy as gave a magnet for me and Rajam to become crazieeeeeeeeeerrrr in playing black metal music.

D8: When was the first time that you became metal fans?

YR: Hmmm maybe in the beginning of 90s I’ve heard and collected a lot of rock and metal bands from abroad. And it still happens until now and become my reference in playing music with Rajam.

D9: What do you say to the people who asked : why do you play western style of music?

YR: Hahahaha I like this (laughing) It’s about feeling that is untold with words, and of course, this kind of favorite of mine is countable hahahaha...

D10: Does the wife or girlfriend of the personnel support for what you’re doing now?

YR: Amaziiiiiiinggggg since the very beginning until now, since we were on date, until we got married and now our kids are grown up, the full support from the family never dies, and it becomes our spirit to stay existing and working on in this metal scene.

D11: What was the best and the worst things of the community in your city?

YR: Hmmmmm always comes and go... that maybe the perfect answer for that question... hopefully in the next year Madura scene and community will grow and deliver high quality bands... ‘settong dhere tretan dhibi' whatever it takes, Madura is our breath.

D12: In which event that you felt the stage is memorable?

YR: All gig events that we’ve been through are memorable. We can see a very good response and supports from our friends in other cities or places that we’ve been through.

D13: Any messages for your friends?

YR: There’s no space for us to be weak, keep working on with the band and the personnel in the band. Because band is like a family needs responsibility too... and being alone but keep working on is more honorable that together but creates nothing... Support local scene by buying the physical release, read, see and listen as reference so in the next years this scene is not being under-estimated. we not fail but we will attack argggghhhhhail.... hail for all MILITANs
