CD REVIEW: BEHEADING CRIMINAL (Banyuwangi) - "Self Crushed Defeat Soul" EP, by Andrew Sick

Beheading Criminal (Banyuwangi, East Java DM) - Self Crushed Defeat Soul (Dismembered Records

Two years ago, a destructive f***ing abomination was born in Indonesia to set up a reign of terror and brutality under the name of "Beheading Criminal" by creating one of the most powerful f***ing bombs that earth ever heard and this bloodthirsty damn explosion was baptized "Self Crushed Defeat Soul"! This bloody f***ing regime spread an insane Brutal Death F***ing Metal that could be a mix between Disgorge US and Enmity but Beheading Criminal is not at all a copy and more going in the same direction of devastation with a way nonetheless original to destroy this shitty f***ing world! "Self Crushed Defeat Soul" contains 4 songs including an instrumental intro and we can say that this f***ing band really knows how to be f***ing brutal by giving total sick f***ing songs from beginning to f***ing end with no f***ing bullshit or other f***ing weaknesses and showing to a lot of big bands that the succession is even more damn insane and brutally competent! Beheading Criminal is Dadan (Guitars/Vocals), Zain (Bass/Vocals), Kconk (Drums) and the trio is f***ing brilliant by delivering a great composition that could be easily among the sickest f***ing EP ever made! Vocals are f***ing excellent including a powerful gutturals with a disgusting side, guitar and bass riffs are f***ing crazy with some addictive parts but the only one flaw to this release in my opinion is maybe a lack of catchy riffs that could be more present and finally the drums is just f***ing insane with a non stop blast drumming f***ing brutal and without weakness! The production of this shit is not perfect but f***ing amazing especially for an EP, mix is again f***ing well done by Insidious Soundlab and this f***ing piece of shit really sounds like a f***ing ton of bombs exploding simultaneously and annihilating everything in this shitty world! 12 minutes of pure f***ing sickness and Beheading Criminal really managed their start into the world of brutality, maybe not offering a blasterpiece, but being very close by giving a brilliant f***ing songwriting from start to end! Highly recommended release to the sickest people around who are only looking for true brutality without weak parts! Destructive F***ing Bomb of Brilliant F***ing Brutality! 9.5/10. CD REVIEW: DAMNATION (Jogjakarta) - "The Prophet Revenge", by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews

DAMNATION (Jogjakarta Death Metal) - The Prophet Revenge (Internal Brutality Records)

The Damnation falls on us ready to occur after more than 15 f***ing years of preparation and for the first time invading the shitty world from the f***ing land of Indonesia for the coming of "The Prophet Revenge"! Damnation offers 13 songs of a nameless f***ing savagery including Rotor and Suffocation covers, also containing an instrumental song and we can say in general that this debut album is a total f***ing carnage! The band is playing a twisted Brutal Death F***ing Metal with some technical and old skull elements and "The Prophet Revenge" cannot be really compared with other bands due to their unique f***ing shit but they are influenced from the styles mentioned above with a f***ed up insane brutal f***ing touch! The production is unfortunately not really good being unequal, a mixing a little wasted with a guitar way too far, drums sounding not really good and all this shit seems a little "boosted" but in fact, it's still going very well with them being a twisted f***ing band and having a production one as well! Unfortunately the production is also wasting a little bit the experience, as mentioned above, with a guitar that could be much more present because the riffs are f***ing awesome and some of them really brilliant as f*** but you need to give much listens to dig this f***ing shit and really appreciating the f***ed up riffing! The Damnation is caused by Gruntwind Gurgletation (Vocals), Bonnie (Guitars), Camel Damnation (Bass), Kris J. Philips (Drums) and delivering a complete butchery with a great f***ing composition of the deadly damn macabre f***ing scenes! Gruntwind on vocals is f***ing killer with a good guttural; Bonnie is delivering for the most great f***ing riffs but we can also find some a little boring; Camel on bass is also f***ing good despite the production; and Kris on drums is fucking awesome mixing non stop blast with a more technical drumming! "The Prophet Revenge" is around 34 minutes of pure f***ing killing with maybe some songs a little less enjoyable but in general being a successful f***ing release and original in its sickness making unique this f***ing shit! Damnation just delivered an excellent debut f***ing album having some flaws but still mandatory to all sickos by its high f***ing level of insanity! Insane F***ing Shit of Pure F***ing Twisted Brutality! 8.5/10. [This review was first published by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews and is used here with his kind permission.]

CD REVIEW: JAGAL (Surabaya DM) - "Jagal / Slaughter" EP, by Hendra Yuwono, 15/8/2016 (English)

JAGAL 2016. Left to Right: Yayan Butcher (vocals), Dhidit Ratt (bass), Endro Wibowo (guitar), and Deddy Demon (drums).
CD REVIEW: JAGAL (Surabaya Death Metal) - "Jagal / Slaughter" EP, by Hendra Yuwono, 15/8/2016 (English)

New vocalist Yayan Butcher
Alright, the four cold blooded killers are back with no mercy against anything that is in their path; they will slaughter all those poor bastards and send their poor souls to the hell!!!

Jagal Surabaya brings us a big atomic surprise bomb with their new EP Jagal / Slaughter, a well constructed and well produced album, and this album really got my full attention...Why??? Because this is their first f***ing time (pardon my French) making a full concept album, from scratch!!! And the concept is not just in the lyrics which tell a story about the years of slaughtering anything that moves!!! It is also a new music concept that they did on this new album!!!

And I really feel that Jagal has been reborn like the phoenix that arises from the ashes as a new found power (are these words too much to describe this new album? No I don't think so), because, if you look back to their 2013 Among the Massacre album, this EP Jagal is really 1000% different. In this album Jagal is giving a more old-school feeling and a bit of technical playing in some parts of their songs, and you will not find any blast to the beats to the blastbeat. This album has mid-paced songs like any old-school death metal album in the early 90s; even so these guys succeed in delivering the concept of slaughtering to our face like a machete slash to your stomach and spill out your every guts!!!

Last but not least I just wanna say thank you to:

Endro Wibowo
Soecahyo Aji
Dhidit Ratt
Yayan Butcher

for giving us a new great f***ing concept album in 2016!!!! |You guys really get my total respect!!! And this will bring a new fresh breath of air to the Surabaya death metal scene, so everyone can learn not to copy-paste what other bands do, but you have be more confident in yourself and your band so you can be different!!! And different is not a bad thing, see Jagal is different but they still stand strong and they can prove difference is power!!!

Recommended album Jagal - Jagal / Slaughter (EP) 2016

My score 7.5 / 10 (I can give 8 or 9 but nah since they only give me five new songs so I give them 7.5)

Buy it or be death posers!! [This review was used with the kind permission of Hendra Yuwono.]

CD REVIEW: WHIPLASH (Jogjakarta Thrash) - "War of Terror", by Hendra Yuwono, 12/8/2016 (Indonesian)

Late review by Hendra Yuwono:
Whiplash (Indonesian Thrash Metal band) - "War of Terror" CD (Disembowel Records)

WHIPLASH (Jogjakarta)
6 / 10
All around ini lumayan buat yang kangen Metallica era sebelum mereka cacat mental!!!

Hail old Metallica!!!! [This review was used with the kind permission of Hendra Yuwono.]

CD REVIEW: STIGMATUARY (Bandung) - "Decimation of Psyche" CD (2016), by Andrew Sick, 24/6/2016

STIGMATUARY (Bandung Death Metal) - Decimation of Psyche CD (Rottrevore Records / Rottrevore Records USA)

From Bandung after their excellent promo CD in 2013, Stigmatuary is now finally ready to offer their highly anticipated debut f***ing album called "Decimation of Psyche" that highly meets expectations with a brilliant f***ing release of high quality in the genre! These crazy Indonesians are performing a sick, fast and highly addictive Brutal Death F***ing Metal ranking this f***ing opus of brutality among the best in this specific f***ing genre but also placing them at the forefront of the Indonesian scene! "Decimation of Psyche" contains 11 songs including a sample intro (US version added with the Promo 2013 as bonus tracks) and all the songs are greatly f***ing composed having in each of them a bunch of catchy riffs with the drums destroying everything in its f***ing path and all of this making you f***ing addicted to this shitty piece of pure brutal f***ing brilliance! Musically this f***ing shit is almost f***ing perfect because all aspects are f***ing great and maybe having a few rare parts a little less enjoyable but you need to find them because they are almost nonexistent! "Decimation of Psyche" has nothing new or original but they know how to excel in their shitty genre to give us an unforgettable brutal primitive f***ing experience to stick eternally in our f***ing essence! Stigmatuary consists of Akbar "Benk" Safari (Vocals), Faisal Faiz Sabani (Guitars), Donovan Tusiwa (Bass), Oki Fadhlan Pamungkas (Drums) and the four sickos are just f***ing genius by giving an amazing performance to all f***ing levels and offering a successful debut album! Akbar has a mighty f***ing vocal maybe lacking guttural and being a little repetitive but in general never get boring, Faisal is showing us how to play f***ing true brutal death with his crazy addictive riffs from start to end and a brilliant songwriting, the same for Donovan on bass doing a great f***ing job and finally Oki giving an extreme drumming of the most enjoying with his non stop blast and intense brutality! The production of this release is for me near perfect, excellent mixing with an explosive and perfect f***ing sound giving to this shit an old skull and straight brutal f***ing atmosphere! "Decimation of Psyche" is 33 f***ing minutes of pure f***ing brutality having this special addictive touch making this album a genius f***ing piece of insanity that could be compared with the best of its genre! Stigmatuary is delivering a monumental debut release highly recommended to each Death Metal / Brutal Death sicko who has some preference for pure brutality at its f***ing best! Ingenious Brutal F***ing Piece of Pure Addictive F***ing Insanity! 9.5/10. CD REVIEW: HYPOCHONDRIAC (Padalarang, Bandung) - "Disobedient" CD (2016), by Andrew Sick

HYPOCHONDRIAC - a new-generation BDM band from Padalarang, West Bandung
HYPOCHONDRIAC (Padalarang, West Bandung) - Disobedient (EXTREME SOULS PRODUCTION)

Born in 2008 in the capital of Death Metal, Indonesia, Hypochondriac are finally ready to serve their highly anticipated debut f***ing album "Disobedient" which continues the brutal f***ing work the band had offered on their promo CD "All Your Shitty Word Will Rape Your Self" released two years ago! The band is back with five new songs, three songs from their promo and an instrumental intro / outro songs which totals ten songs of pure f***ing enjoyment that have the power to dig your f***ing mind and getting stuck! Hypochondriac from Bandung performs a sick Brutal Death F***ing Metal with such influences of bands like Gorgasm / Disgorge and the band delivers a brutality much oriented on blast (except for instrumental songs) but each song contains its heavy f***ing parts diversifying the f***ing shit! "Disobedient" is all about the f***ing roots of Brutal Death with all the necessary elements to make it a memorable f***ing release missing perhaps a little atmosphere but still f***ing cold and brutal as f***! The band consist of Aldy M. Rizal (Vocals), Terry Buldansyah (Guitars), Gielang Hardjaputra (Drums) and the insane f***ing trio is doing a near perfect f***ing composition by having maybe only some less enjoying parts and the instrumental songs a little less successful but in general the songwriting of this album is f***ing solid! Aldy on vocals is f***ing great, a little redundant but f***ing powerful, Terry on guitars is just awesome by giving a ton of great f***ing riffs but missing maybe some addictive riffs to realize a perfect composition and finally Gielang is giving a brutal and varied f***ing drumming! The production of this shit is near perfect and maybe missing only a little explosive side but still f***ing well done, good mixing with a brutal f***ing sound raping your f***ing ears! 32 minutes of pure f***ing insanity having everything to please by its songs very well composed containing extreme blasts and catchy f***ing riffs that maybe could have been more but still f***ing addictive from start to end! Hypochondriac is totally meeting the expectations with this amazing debut album making its mark among the most brutal Indonesian releases and "Disobedient" is maybe not perfect but highly recommended to all true sick in the head f***ers! Extreme Cold F***ing Brutality! 9/10. [This review was first published by Andrew Sick of Sick Reviews on 21 June 2016 and is used here with his kind permission.]
